Role of the platform
MOLOFY is a marketplace for maritime experiences. We connect guests with independent boat providers. The booking contracts are concluded directly between the guest and the respective provider. ZiaNeo Systems UG is not a party to these bookings.
For reasons of data protection and anti-circumvention, providers appear on the platform exclusively under a neutral identifier ("BoatID" in the format MLF-BOAT-XXXX). For all booking-related matters — pre-booking questions, rescheduling, cancellations, complaints — MOLOFY acts as the central point of contact at info@molofy.com. Direct provider contact details (WhatsApp, phone) are made available to the guest in the Manage portal after the booking is confirmed. The provider is responsible for the content of their profile and experience descriptions.

Platform operator reporting obligation (DAC7 / PStTG)
As a platform operator within the meaning of the German Platform Tax Transparency Act (PStTG) — implementing EU Directive 2021/514 (DAC7) — we are obliged to annually report data on providers to the Federal Central Tax Office. For personal services such as the mediation of skippered boat trips, no de-minimis threshold applies — every provider is reportable from the first euro. Providers are informed in the Owner Cockpit; details in our Privacy Policy, DAC7 section.
Consumer dispute resolution
The former EU online dispute resolution (ODR) platform under Regulation (EU) 524/2013 was discontinued on 20 July 2025 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228. We are not required to participate in consumer dispute resolution proceedings under § 36 VSBG (German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act) and are not willing to do so; we review individual cases on a voluntary basis. For business users (providers): Under Art. 12 P2B Regulation (EU 2019/1150) we designate two mediators for out-of-court dispute resolution:

Every such image visibly carries the label "AI-generated". These images serve as stylistic illustration and do not constitute documentary photography of real persons or current events. Images displayed on individual experience and provider profile pages are uploaded by the respective providers; whether they are AI-generated is declared by the providers at upload time and is likewise labeled visibly on the image.
